As the new Superintendent, Dr. Buenrostro looks forward to continuing to champion equity, inclusion, and access for all. This is accomplished through our two pillars: Social Emotional Support and Academic Rigor and Relevance. We value innovation, curiosity, and continuous improvement.

CNUSD is proud to offer dynamic educational programs such as Gift and Talented Education (GATE), TK-12 Dual Language Immersion (DLI), Expanded Learning/After School Education, Advanced Via Individual Determination (AVID), Career Technical Education (CTE), Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA), and many more.

CNUSD is focused on providing a quality education for all students within a secure and supportive environment. This past year has brought many obstacles. It is important to recognize the resilience and flexibility of students, staff, and parents. The physical and mental wellbeing of students is paramount, and it guides decision making. Safety will continue to be top priority as CNUSD navigates operating within a global pandemic.
